How long does it take for you to find a job?

i just resigned from my job for almost two weeks now. i am getting impatient at the agency where I applied for. in just a day they called me and asked my to comply requirements immediately even if there is no deployment yet. all of a sudden they told me that i need to wait. Now, the question is how long will i keep waiting?
