How does Facebook affect your daily life?

Every morning, when i wake, the first think i check on the internet is facebook. this has been my routing since I signed up. i used to play their gaming applications but got bored after sometime. now, i use it to connect with my friends from afar. it makes me get updates about their personal lives and have short chats with them.

At first I got myself addicted to it. I was always thinking of it. Right now, I'm not anymore but I always check my page everyday for updates. I like Facebook because it's so easy to communicate to the people you know.

I can see that the facebook would affect my life a lot, because I already lost much time and I don't even have a my own facebook account!
Very often, I use my sister's facebook account to see the updates about some persons since they can't see who looks their FB account. I don't make my FB account, because I know that I will lose much time in this.

Two weeks ago, I read an article in a local news paper about Facebook. In that the writer's opinion(I do not remember the writer's name)is the impact of the Facebook to collage girls and boys-is bad. It swallows college students times and manner.

It sames for me also.I am too addicted to facebook.I spend a lot of time in facebook to chat and to roam around in different group and friends activity.It becomes a part of my life.Though too much using is bad for me as a student but its a good way of communication to friends and family.

Staying on facebook groups keeps everyone connected together. you belong to a group and every activity inside the group is notified to all the members. I join CB110 group and Oikonomos. CB110 is a club of motorcycle riders and Oikonomos is a group i created for my batchmates. I used to check on Cb110 to see latest designs that they have installed on other members' motorcycle. I also have a motorcycle so I learned interest in that group.

Yes, i did almost the same like you did everyday. I log in to facebook everyday for checking my friends status, checking my friend's birthday, chatting, playing games, and still much thing to do.
The most helpfull feature in facebook is the birthday reminder because i hardly can remember my friend's birthday. With this feature, i can know when my friend's birthday is and i can greet them on time. I even got many greetings from my friends at facebook when my birthday is.
So i could say facebook really helps us keep in touch with our friends.

haha! I remember. once upon a time, I ve got reunited with a friend. She told me that it was Sheryl's birthday last time and she asked me if i greeted her. I was guilty becuase i forgot (I actually forgot birthdays except my own. lol) Even my parents birthdays I cant remember. Its good the on facebook, you will get reminders that hey its your friends birthday come on greet her/him. I see some people who really check their facebook and it appears on my newsfeed that they do greet their friends everyday.

I do not go there often at all. Maybe once a week. I have most of my friends on e mail or I call them.

I supposed you are a very busy person. Each individual has their own pattern of life everyday and for some, they dont have much things to do is they spend the rest of the time on facebook. there is a lot of applications there that help them consume time while not getting bored. Facebook is useful in a way.

Even i used to do like how you do.., untill I came to know about mylot.com..!
Now it always tends me to login to mylot account and check how many responses to my discussions, reply back to them etc etc..

Well, now I'm dependent upon social media for my life to function therefore I basically survive on Internet! If I don't have the Internet, I'm one unhappy person because I cannot check my updates, notifications, or friend requests. I don't really use Facebook that much anymore though because I prefer Twitter. It takes a lot of valuable time out of my life, but I enjoy th fact that I can con ersatz with my friends, people from far and wide, and even celebrities if they decide to reply back!

In our school almost of my classmate is addicted in facebook except of me its because im just wasting my time on facebook. i just only use facebook for communication to my family and friends and not for wasting my time if i compare facebook and mylot i go to mylot its because we earn here even though it is not big money right?
1000 days in facebook = nothing
1000 days in mylot = Money

I can't tell you how much time I waste in the morning booting up my computer just to check Facebook when I should be getting ready for school. Now, it has come to a point where I do it without even thinking about it! I need help.

you really got problem with facebook pal. if a person does have nothing to do, its Ok to access facebook. but every person has their own priorities at the moment they wake until the night they go to sleep. you only have to set your mind and do it according to your priorities.. OK? just dicipline the urges to open your pc especially you a student so dont risk your studies just because of facebook. =)))

I open my facebook, everytime I have the chance. I too play games on facebook, and got bored and I spend my time here at mylot where my time won't be wasted at all. but my facebook still keeps me updated with friends, classmates, birthdays and events.

At first it really affected my entire daily routine. when i get to know facebook, all of a sudden my daily routine have change. And i agree with you, their games are really addictive. I remember when the time when i was playing Farmville, i was in a class and i just realize that my crops will get witted if i don't harvest it in time. So i ran into the nearest computer shop - skip my class and play Farmville. But that was long time ago. Now i just open Facebook anytime i want, i just check notifications, browse pictures and chat with friends. Maybe now Facebook doesn't affect much my daily life. I can even survive a week or two without opening Facebook.

facebook is a social networking intended to connect friends, family and business associates. But it also become addictive to us like some of their applications such as games i always play it daily,i also checked other people's facebook, chat my friends, check my messages and downloading photos and video.Well its a big helps for me to connect my love ones everyday without missing them because of easy way communication.
