Lots of shampoos in TV commercials promise to take away all those dandruff after you use it.But those dandruff are still there which are irritating and so itchy, sometimes the flakes in your hair and falling in shoulders are really annoying.Do have the same problems too. Have you tried those shampoos who promise to get rid of these dandruff and yet they are still there? Is there any alternative ways or recommended shampoo that really take it all away?

I have tried Clear shampoo but it makes my hair oily and hair fall too. I prefer Head and Shoulders! It's really good, no itch, less hair fall, less oily and most of all..no dandruff! Try it.

Hi Ardoy. Some dandruff is a form of atopic dermatitis as well. It can be that you are allergic to something. Or... one classic reason is stress. I think you should relax more often.

I too have a dandruff problem and I still do, Ive had lots of dandruff shampoos and some of them worked for a while but most of them only gave temporary solutions but it is okay since temporary is better than none so i sticked with them until I can find another shampoo that would do the job, so I say too you my friend don't worry we'll find a solution to that yet.

Try using a conditioner along with the shampoo. Most shampoos contain sulfates, leaving the scalp dry. Perhaps the dryness worsens the dandruff. Conditioners soothe the dryness. I used to have dandruff problem too. Whenever I use conditioner, my dandruff lessens.

I get dandruff when I'm stressed so my solution is to unwind, rest and use a conditioner. My friend also had dandruff problems and she used a Men's Anti-Dandruff shampoo and it worked on her.

A lot of times what people need to realize, is that not every shampoo out there will help each situation. Sometimes an itchy scalp could be more than dandruff and needed to be treated with a different kind of shampoo out there as well. Have you tried moistening the scalp with special conditioners or Hot oil treatments? Or changing shampoos? Sometimes it could be just doing something different that could help your situation as well.

I've tried a lot. Some worked, others didn't. But my dandruff problem wasn't that bad. I think it was partly because of my lifestyle. I mean, during those times, I stay out late at nights hanging out with friends in smoke-filled bars and restaurants. A friend suggested to me to minimize if not totally avoid doing that, which I tried and found out that my dandruff problem eventually disappeared. I'm not sure if it was the shampoo, the change in lifestyle or both, though.
