I observed many people has dream when they were young and somehow unable to reach those dream. So they must manage to adjust their life expectation and realign their goal to more realistic one. My sister for example, she has a dream to become an engineer but due to some problem she was unable to continue her study. However, she still become successful business owner and some of her employees are engineers. So she feel too old to study engineering again and manage to ensure her son to get her dream..How about you? What is your previous life expectation or dream? How successful or align are you with your goal?

It is good for your sister even though she doesn't get what he wanted because of some problems as you said she still able manage to become a successful businessman. For me my dreams are to pursue and finish my college course but now I'm still studying and doing my best to achieve this dream and expectations. For now i'm still align with my dreams hope this still will be the same. =) Your sister's son if he/she also have the same love and passion about engineering he could continue the dreams of her mother. It is also important for parents to know their child dreams and what they want to be to avoid being blame if they face failure because we force them to do that thing. The best is to support them with their dreams especially they need parents along their sides.

I had wanted to become a lawyer but I had to drop out of law school on my first year due to financial difficulties. I started working hard to save up for tuition but I found myself enjoying my work. Then I got married and started a family of my own. I got a bit successful in my career. Bought a new house, cars, visited other countries for vacations, buy a lot of stuff that I thought I couldn't buy or possess if I wasn't a lawyer :) I guess that dream failed 'cause the dream was based on a faulty foundation. I mean, I just wanted to become a lawyer to get rich :) So the things I've successfully achieved now are still close to my previous life expectation but I just change or took a different route to get there.

well my friend, you are right..sometimes we must take a different route to get our final expectation even far from our plan..At least we can achieve our desire rather than stack to only our plan..Like your case, you still can find satisfaction even though not becoming a lawyer..same thing with my sister..

Well Younger people tend to have more grand dreams. as we get older, i think our dreams get aligned to the reality of our situation, then people stop dreaming as big as they have when they were younger. It is like what we would do if we were not afraid of anything, we would probably be risking it all - like a child who was never hurt, they are not afraid and does not have a restricted attitude. Right?!

My life is full of uncertainties because I am not able to work in a conventional office due to personal reasons. Fortunately, I am able to do what I love the most, i.e. writing. I have always dreamed about being a writer and now I am. I am grateful to God that He gave me this path to earn my living. I am now looking for a better opportunity so that I can improve in life even more. Wish me luck!

When I was 18 years old I imagined I would get an open top car and a yacht plus work in the shipping world in the city of London. At 19 years old I bought a little cottage and dreamed about getting a shipping job in Dover. I life changed considerably when I got made redundant at 20 years old. There was a recession and I found it way too challenging to find another job. I decided to let out my cottage, get a working holiday visa for Australia and go off traveling around the world. I spent just over one year on my fantastic trip then I began my teacher training. I changed careers and became a primary school teacher.

For me really it is the result if you have more expectation so be good and things would be better in you specially if you worship the only true god Jehovah it is a big deal with you.
