What would you do if you were not afraid?

We people are very much able to do things, We were given so much, willpower, strength, courage, love, trust, faith, hope... but there are times that amidst all the empowerment that GOD has given us we would still be afraid to fail, to be left alone, we are afraid to lose and afraid to let matters slip into our hands as we let fear reside... With this, I thought... what do you think would you do if you were not afraid? Basically anything that you have thought of, or anything that has entered your mind when you opened the topic? You could be afraid to fall in love because you have been hurt before, afraid to trust, afraid to invest your money because its your retirement plan, afraid to move to another place or afraid to change careers because we are too comfortable with our current positions... What would you do if you were not afraid?

I really think that I would accomplish a few more things that I would normally do. However, there are just going to be a lot of times where fear does in fact keep me in check when you really think about it. Granted, too much fear can really keep us too much in check and it is going to take us right off of the path to what we really need to do. Still there are just going to be many times where fear can really keep us in check. I think that I could have accomplished a couple of more things if I had not had fear. However, in the back of my mind, I wonder if having fear was really for my own good. There are just going to be a lot of times where those without fear tend to be a bit more reckless sometimes. Now sometimes risks are the lifeblood of success but when they blow up, oh boy do they blow up. I think that I have taken risk but I have lines that I would not cross out of fear. By removing those lines, who really knows what could happen. It could be a grand success but it could be the most epic of epic failures.

thank you megamatt for your response to the topic. you have a great insight according to the discussion and well I would say that i couldn't agree with you more about being reckless and not being careful about things we do or about our decisions if we weren't afraid. Fear can keep us level headed, or can keep us on the ground but when we really remove it and use our hearts and mind accordingly it is true that we would be able to do more things, greater things for ourselves and in turn for our loved ones...

If I were not afraid (of life) I would be the person I really am and do something to make the world a better place.

First,i have fears some time, this may come from social pressure, but sometimes i feel that i should be confident cause my friends always encourage me to do anything i want.So i'm not afaid then,i believe that if we could adjust our attitude toward life, nothing would we fear at all.Have a nice day.
