How do you act as Jesus would in such a sinful world? I was at church this week and the pastor was saying that in order for you to be Jesus disciple you need to be willing to give up everything in the world to follow him. I don't think I could give up my kids and my man, that's a pretty big thing to ask. DO you agree? why or why not?

That pastor cannot be serious. You cannot give up your family or children. Family is also a gift from God. If you want to follow Jesus, I think you can still be able to do both. Be royal to Jesus and as well take care of your family.

No I do not agree. They are maybe ways to worship God & it does not require that you give up everything you own or hold dear. Now if they are not followers of God then yes I feel that you should limited your association with them even if they are family. Simply because you try to live you life according to the bible & they don't. Nowadays anything goes, it's all about making yourself feel good whether our God would approve or not. You can't have it both ways, you can't say you love & follow God & then in the next instance turn around & sin against Him.
