Ranma 1/2 liveaction

OMG really? where did you hear this? i wonder how they will cast this one...Japanese casting of anime adaptations have been hit/miss in the past lol.oooh and i wonder if they will finally get married!!! i loove this anime, i love the manga, i love rumiko-sensei's works!!! (sorry, the leash on my inner fan-girl got cut, haha) and yes i agree with you, thank goodness its not a Hollywood adaptation. im still recovering from the dragonball movie and that's just from seeing the trailer and reading the synopsis. i couldnt bring myself to watch it, felt it would be like going traitor to Goku's legacy. pfft. _

I remember watching Ranma 1/2 anime whe i was a kid. It was an interesting anime with unique characters too. Well if it will be adapted to live action movie then i hope it will as great as the anime show. But i think it will quite difficult to make the animal in this film to move like in the anime. Still, i will going to watch it when it released just for remembering my childhood anime show.

Hi! Have you watched it? I've watched it already! I wasn't satisfied with Yui Aragaki playing Akane nor with the actor who played Ranma but all in all, the movie was okay. Actually, it wasn't a movie but a drama special. It didn't have any movie feel in it. It's more like an extended drama. I'm thinking they are planning to make a drama from it. If I'm right, then it would be awesome! The special was funny because the actors who played Ranma's father and Akane's father were really good comedians. I've seen them in other dramas and they are really veteran comedians. I particularly like the actor who played Akane's father. He was in Gokusen and in other Nakama Yuki's dramas. If they really make a drama out of the special, I wish they will give it a good ending!

I was actually excited when I heard that Ranma 1/2 was getting a live action adaption (more so then when I heard that Rurouni Kenshin was getting one). This was one of the earlier series that I remember watching so I have really fond memories of it. And you don't even know how happy I am to know that Hollywood isn't having anything to do with this. Anyways, I'm looking forward to this, it should prove to be crazy and chaotic considering the source material.

Wow! I remember the time I used to watch anime with my cousins at home. Ranma 1/2 was like one of the oldest anime I have ever seen!! Wait? there were censored parts on the anime? I don't remember that. I heard from a friend that the anime was very long and the ending wasn't that satisfactory! Good thing, Hollywood is not there to intervene. They are horrible when making movies out from an anime. Look what they did to dragonball! it was one of the most terrible movies i've seen! almost insulting to the anime! japanese tv show? I hope they post it on some website for us to watch online.

I fully remember this anime and there was really no censorship on those scenes. If I am not mistaken, this was shown on RPN9. Maybe it was because during those days wherein blackout is rampant, that the MTRCB board thought that censoring this is useless when you can't even open your TV. Just my wild guess :)

I remember this manga.I watched it when i was a pupil,now i can still remember there was a panda.It's a very funny manga.besides,i also think that Japanese make the best anime,and i myself watch only japanese anime.

Yeah, for some reason, Japan anime is the best one. They have a good story to children. They teach how to live, and there are so many kind things they teach to us from the story. But something i don't like is, japan anime use a standart grapich and animation. Maybe, if they improve the grapich and animation, it will be more interesting to watch.
