Do you think anyone would notice if you deactivate your account?

So what do you think? Are you active in facebook so much that you will most probably be missed by your friends in facebook when you decide to have your account deactivated? Or, well do you think that if you do have your account inactivated people will not even know you're gone and has decided not to be active anymore? Do you think some friends will actually look for you? hahaha

Yes its possible that you will get noticed by if you have deactivated your account especially those that are included in your lists of friends. One way of determining this, if in case they tried to search your name and you are no longer searchable.

yeah,,, search is ok for friends. :) but if you are not friends yet of the person, probably the person tend to block his/her account for public viewing.

Hi! Most of the people would be too busy to notice that we have deleted our account. We are not a Celebrity that our friends will miss as so much on Facebook ..... Lol!

Haha I guess that's right... =) We are not as in demand as the celebrities, we should not be thinking people would want to find us...

I don't know if anyone would notice. I don't think that many people would actually noticed if I deactivated my account. I'd like to think that some people would notice, but it would probably take quite a bit of time for them to do so.

Hi chiyosan, I have deleted my account permanently. Well, I guess there is no point of having an account when I'm not active. The game applications are pretty cool though. Since Mylot has its fun stuff too, I thought I'm better off sticking with one. Please allow me to take this opportunity to thank Facebook because if it wasn't for Facebook, I would have never found my old school buddies. Two of my friends did call me up and asked me why they can't find me on their friends list. It is a good feeling to know that my friends actually do care about me.

Hi there julianmac! =) I guess it is cool to have been called by friends who thought you disappeared in FB, im glad they show concern for you and even called you up. hehe Its rare to find friends who would go out of their way to find you... =) Its good that you find mylot better, though. hehe sometimes it is always better to stick to one and concentrate. for us, well i would have chosen mylot too because i earn good money here whenever i waste time in here, unlike in facebook.

Many of my friends have so many "friends" that they probably wouldn't notice I'm gone. The ones that message me may know after a couple of weeks lol. I tend to notice if a person leaves when I don't see their status updates for a few weeks.

Hi BeetleBam... =) Thanks for your response to the topic... I'd agree that well they would have updated their status if they are still around. ;) But for me, i barely take notice of these things in my account. i only care much about the friends i regularly interact with...

i think, if i deactivated my account, and then no one will decided i' gone. Hahaha. :D That because i rarely use my facebook to share something, chat with my friends. I'm only use my facebook to play games. Then, when i finished playing game, i log out it. No time for update status, comment other status, chat with other, or share something. Hahaha. :D

Ahaha! We are on the same boat then. If i had my account removed now, no one would even notice i have been gone.. =) I rarely log in to it anymore, removed my photo albums, and I even had my tags for approval before i get tagged to anything in facebook. Honestly i think its really an issue that anyone can just tag you anywhere and to any picture they want - it annoys me!

i believe some will do look for me, and wonder but there will be who will not give a damn. but i wouldn't care at all. if they will miss me or not, it is not the reason why i will hesitate to deactivate the account.

he he i think no one would even notice me, to be honest. they do not even know i was not logging in for the month and well, they just thought that i was ignoring them or something... and would just ask, where is the picture taken on your phone, and so on =(

I think they would notice if I had deactivated my account. The reason I say this is because I had deleted a girl from my account because she was causing too much drama and she had mentioned this to my partner. I just don't do drama and I will delete you if you cause it. Know what I mean? So, yes, people do notice it.

The truth is, that I haven't posted actively on Facebook for a while but after some time, I'm sure someone will discover that I've deleted my account! I still have other social networks like Tumblr and Twitter that I'm involved in so it really wouldn't matter that much but I don't think I'd ever go to the extent of deleting my account! Facebook has provided me with a many contacts and I need those contacts today to be productive! And it also provides birthday information and events that I wouldn't acquire anywhere else. I need Facebook to market myself too, so I won't delete it but I'm sure if you were to delta yours that your closer friends would ask you why!
