Is it really okay to entrust your whole being to a friend?

What if that friend wasn't really a friend, but that someone who foretells your secrets to everybody (stabs you at the back). Suddenly you'll know that you are the talk of the town, can I still trust anybody? I guess, trust is the most fragile thing you could ever offer or have to a friend.

There is no such thing as any one person being 100% trustworthy. I found that out the hard way & stupid me is still finding out that hard truth over & over again. My advice to you is, yes it's okay to have friends, but never EVER trust any of them w/ any of your secrets. Because the first time u have a fight or disagreement they will make sure that everyone knows every single thing you ever told them. Oh & BTW the same can be said for family as well. You want to trust someone, you trust yourself because in the end that's the only one whom you can ever really trust.

It's way too good to have someone to talk to and to cry on, but, I just only kneel down and pray and talk to God everything, cause I know He's the only one I could lean on to..

for me, there are still people who are worthy to be trusted. but they are not that common. you just have to learn whom to entrust your secrets.

It's so hard to find out who really they are.

While there are a lot of people that I would trust, there is only a certain extent where I would trust a lot of people. It is just as a precaution to say the very least. There are just going to be many times where trust is going to really be one of those things where it can be offered but it can be seized and then shattered to say the least. I have many things that I would just like to keep to myself. There are just people that I'd trust but entrusting one person other than myself with everything is just asking for trouble. Even if they are trustworthy, there is a chance that the friendship could go south and thus they spill all of your secrets out of spite. That is just a chance that I'm not willing to take.

I have learnt that no one is 100% trustworthy so i don't have bestfriends only close friends that i know who have my back and are very trustworthy Trust ? That is a powerful word. It means to have confidence or faith in. "We all trust in God, well he never fails" Friends? They are not perfect and are human afterall, its the mistakes we'all make in life that enable us learn and grow strong Rely on your friends, but never trust them with all your heart, mind and soul.
