Well I have read somewhere that there was this man who had a mole/unusual mark on his chest.. and then he had a past life regression experience... then he found out that he died of a bullet that hit his chest where the birthmark was and it is what killed him. Do you believe that our moles have meaning? hehe well here in the Philippines many people would notice that and would even comment on them; mole in the hand/palm means you will have lots of money; mole in your shoulders mean you are suppose to carry a heavy weight of problems and trials on your life, mole on your feet would mean you would be travelling a lot, mole of your face where a tear/tears would be touching it if you cry means your other half may die ahead of you. Mole on the lips mean you are quite a talkative person, and so on... Do you think this is possibly true? Have you ever heard of it?

I have never heard of that but it seems like something that doesn't have much backing to it. Moles are just random at birth and do not mean anything. People try to find the meaning in anything (palms, footprints), which is interesting to hear but doesn't mean much.

Being a Filipino. I have heard that numerous times before! As a kid, I used to believe those stuffs. But as I grew older, I think those are not real at all. I think it is also the same as those "alamat" (local version of legend) we have.

Yeah, I've heard a couple of spinster's tale about those moles. I think there was even a song in the '80s about what moles mean. But honestly, I've never believed there was any truth to that.

Moles play an important role in identification. I don't believe in such concepts which you had mentioned above. I think it is a utterly foolish belief. I have a mole on my shoulder. Does it mean that i carry heavy weight? Actually i used to carry less weights. I usally used to take only very few books. So how comes the weight?

Moles are common skin lesions. They are due to the proliferation of pigment cells called melanocytes. The number of moles a person has depends on genetic factors and sun exposure. They may appear at birth or within the first two years of life. I have heard those beliefs about the meanings of moles in our body. But I think they're just superstitions. Not all people who have moles on those parts of their body experiences the same as those described above.
