this friend of mine learned of my personal secret. it is nothing to be ashamed of or something of big deal. but it is just that i don't want to share it with others. i want to keep things private. so i hope that my friend will just keep it as secret.

Hey hotsummer!
Since your friend have known your secret already, it's up to him/her to take care of your trust. You can explain to him/her that at first, you don't share it to him/her because you want to keep personal matters privately. I think she/he could understand it and I hope he/she will keep this secret between you and her/him.

I am indifferent to this. And if this doesn't matter, you shouldn't think about this. You should rather question your friend who disclosed your secret.
