I have an old motorola phone that really last for a week or more than that. It is a very old and it has Internet or any of those new applications. My other phone is Blackberry that has a lot of these new apps and wifi that I normally use, and this last for a day or two only. I think playing games and browsing the net on phone can really decrease our phone's battery life. I have not been very careful with it too, because normally I don't finish charging it fully when I suddenly needs to go and the battery is still charging, I unplugged it most of the time even if the battery isn't full yet.

Yes browsing net wil drain ur whole battery charge more than u hearing a song because when ur browsing they are sending and receiving process going on if u work and browse through 3G then moreover ur charge wont last for long.

Yes naseem is right. Browsing the net can easily drain your battery more than just listening to music.

Using data does drain battery faster... I have pretty basic phone & I have to charge it at least twice a day... I use my phone for work & I get a lotta calls on it...

On busy days, I go through 6 hours of phone calls a day... One time, I couldn't get into my office so I took a conference call on my cell phone for 7 straight hours... I have a samsung phone & it takes about 2 - 3 hours for Tito charge depending on how low the battery is... Spec says I should get about 5 hours of talk time on it but realistically, I get about 3 - 4 hours depends on how & where I use it... It does seem like talking on the phone drinks battery pretty quick...

While calling battery consumes a lot of charge ? How much calls you do per day? Whats the companies name of the battery ? How much does it take to get full charging ?

well there is no method actually to improve your battery performance . it's just that if you want to save yourself from daily head aches of charging your phone take my advice and do one thing . Buy an extra battery for your phone and the charger . this will help as you will not have to keep your phone away when it's charging . As soon as one finishes the other will be ready . And this can go on for a long long time.

Yeah! They consumes battery much not much like capturing photos and listening musics. Actually battery depends on how much you use and the back up capacity of the battery itself. There is a software named Nokia Battery Monitor 1.3 which you can get in Ovi Store. Download and install it. Its a good software which can reduce your consuming of battery life and increase it. Another application is there Mobile Guard or something like that which also gives facility to save battery life thus giving your longer period. Happy myLotting!

My phone is an old phone which i buy before 2years. From the time when i buy i use my phone mostly for browsing internet so think my battery is not in good condition. As i had habit of changing my simcards often by removing by battery so i need to change my battery. So when i browse internet i always plug the charge then it would be ok.

Yes using internet takes up more battery. Is your phone a smartphone? If it is then you might consider killing apps. If it is not, one of my friends once told me to completely drain the battery and then charge it. It helps. There are applications for that. Good luck.

All the applications that require internet consume a lot of battery. Try to disable the data whenever you can it saves a lot of battery. Try to use only 2g n/w. Disable your wi fi and gps. Brightness also plays major role in decreasing battery life. Decrease brightness to the minimum.
