Does twice a week 5k run keeps you fit and your belly flat?

Though I look petite and small, I am very conscious on my health. I watch what i eat, enough sleep every night, drink lots of water and of course last but not the least doing EXERCISE! Because I feel and look I'm penguin's sister if I gain weight even a pound. And i won't allow that to actually happen. 100 times of sit ups a day and twice a week 5k jogging are the two working exercises i commonly do. I believe sit ups will keep my belly flat, but i doubt if running could flat my tummy as well, but this really helps me keep fit and aside from that i enjoy running 'coz i can gain more friends. By the way, I'm so excited to share that we will join the run for the pasig river tomorrow morning. Hope this makes me more sexy! Maintaining my sexy body is the major reason why i love running. laughing out laud! But does running could helps flatten my belly?

According to what I read, running daily can help loose weight and melt the body fat surrounding the stomach. By exerting the energy while running, fats are burned and the stomach is getting flatter and more defined. Running daily can also improves cardiovascular health and lower blood pressure.
