Hi fellow mylotters! I would just like to ask if anybody here has experienced using moneybookers? It's like paypal but I think paypal is just way too better than it in terms of acceptance in online shopping stores. I'm just a newbie trying it out so do you have any suggestions, warnings or comments about moneybookers? Thank you! Happy mylotting!

yes! in almost all the countries you can withdraw directly to your bank account. but in some countries they pay only by cheque.

paypal is definitely better than any other online payment mechanism. I heve been using them for over 3 years now. Money booker's is cheaper than paypal with better currency conversion rate( i need them to convert into indian rupee INR)it delivers money direct to your bank account- no hassles and almost as fast as Paypal(about 1-2 days). they have a very detailed verification process which can get to your nerves. But overall a good service. their only problem is they keep freezing accounts for no reason whatsoever. Then you have to verify again. it is a good platform to receive money but not very good for shopping due to limited acceptance. Paypal however is much bigger and better site to withdraw money directly in your account. Paypal has the maximum acceptance in shopping sites and the most popular method to pay online- even more popular than credit cards in many countries. It is easy fast and very secure. I receive all my payments via paypal now. Now i would tell u one incident which made me fan of paypal. Once my paypal account was hacked and about 70 euros stolen. I didn't knew about that but Paypal's automatic system had detected some suspicious activity and had automatically blocked the payment and mailed me to confirm. i had to confirm it by mail as well as provide a simple proof of identity and voila the money came back in my account. So overall i would suggest you to go with Paypal.

Yes I really love PayPal. I also have an account there. My only problem is that one site that I am using (microworkers) does not accept PayPal. :( Anyways thanks for responding! :)

I have seen news about moneybookers, but have not used it yet. Have been using paypal for a few years now, and I am staying on with that. If a program requires using moneybookers only, then of course I have to think about it.
