Is that true Green technology Power Supply Unit can save our money?

Dear all, i have a problem choosing a right power supply unit.
Is it true that if we buy a GREEN technology power supply unit we can save our money in eletricity bill ?

yes definitely! And you will save environment as well. Select PSUs with 80 plus certifications. Save money with reduced power consumption as well as Decreased heat output and cooling requirement. Also 80 plus PSU only give power when needed saving a lot when system is running idle. But how much can u save in terms of real money varies. If you are Gamer or do photoshop etc, Green PSU won't result in much saving. However for a simple user who spends lots of his/her time on Facebook/mylot, most of the time system does not need full power- so it results in lots of saving.

IT IS POWER SAVING RATING! it means PSU's have more than 80 % efficiency at different loads like 50 % load or 75 % load. It is best kind of power saving certificate. You get bronze silver gold platinum and titanium versions. If you can't find 80 plus PSU, try to find any with some other forms of certification like energy stars because without these you cannot be sure! In any case any green PSU will be saving your electricity Bill
