Logo and Mascot Sea Games 26th

guys,do you notice that logo and mascot for sea games 26th, jakarta-palembang is different? i see on logo it was like bird, maybe it's eagle or garuda ( i think it's garuda), but on the mascot it was modo-modi (the legend animal from pulau komodo, that's komodo). so what do you think about this? why it can be different? i think we should use modo-modi, because sea games times is the same time with choosing pulau komodo as new 7 natural wonders.

i dont care anymore about sea games after we only get silver medal..it`s not more interesting anymore for me..

it`s the best time eko.. we had patrich wanggai, okto, tibo and kurnia meiga.. thats golden generation i think so we should regret when it`s not time for us getting gold medal.. you can see how some of our brother sacrifice for getting gold medal??

i think that's why we use different mascot and logo.
