Learning foreing : How important to master a foreing language

How important for you to master a foreign language? There are certainly some of the benefits of mastering foreign language such as English, French and German. By mastering all three languages??, allows us easily to absorb the information and science technology and so forth. In addition to the three languages??, there are several other very good language to master ??such as Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Mandarin. I saw the progress of a country depends on how important to master the language. As an example Mandarin language, Mandarin language is preferred by students, because these are very difficult language to master and besides that, the progress of the country of origin of the language spoken in the world market. I conclude that the language has increased prestige for a country that has experienced extraordinary progress. In your opinion, how important is the mastery of a foreign language for you?

I learned english long ago in the US, It helped me a lot when I went back to my country, because I could find jobs very easy as if I didnt speak english. Then I met my husband and we came to Taiwan to live , now I am learning chinese and yes , its a very difficult language, but, I speak some now at least I can understand a lot and ask for my own food, Beside that, english save me , because its the language we have in commun in the world, if I didnt speak english , living in here will be harder for me, I am kind of managing the three languages and if I would have the chance to learn another one , I will be willing to do it. I am very proud of it, and for me its very important learning as many languages as we can , they will open more doors for Us. Have a great day my friend.

Mastering a foreign language is a necessity because it will help you when you visit the country that is using that specific language. Also it will be use when someone needs some interpretation because he or she doesn't understand that language. In my case I studied Japanese and Chinese language. Now I am confused on what language to be mastered. Since both are important. Anyways, I can master both.

yess,,, for me to master a language course, very difficult, because iam hard pressed to learn a foreign language, now iam learning english, because the demands of office, must master the language, im also eager to learn a German languange. :-)
