Restaurants: Preview the Menu?

Should restaurants let you preview the menu before you sit, so you can see whether they have something you like or something in your price range? I think most do; it should be encouraged for happier customers.

Yes, I like to know the food they serve and the prices before being seated. A lot of times I'll try to find a website for the restaurant before going so I can check it out and see if it's worth it to go.

I believe all restaurants will, you just have to ask for the menu before being seated. Many expensive restaurants will have the menu posted outside so that you know how expensive they are.

most places have menu's out side, so you can see what they have before going in.

Absolutely. Most restaurant here have a board or menu outside so you can see if you like the food they offer (and if the price range is within your budget) before you go in and sit down. I have been in places without this, taken a seat, perused the menu and left again. If there is nothing on the menu I like or the place looks dirty inside or it seems extortionate I won´t stay.
