yeah, we are going tomorrow with my friends since our teacher made us- I am quite happy about it since going there doesn't really mean you really have to have big problems- you can also go there to just have a talk and ask advice.I want to go there but just don't have time or I want to go with someone... I hope it goes well and I learn something tomorrow.

I hope it goes well and you learn something as well. Can't you also find out about different jobs and what all you need to take to do the job? Setting goals and such also. THat is a good thing to get in the habit of doing. They are there to guide you and help you ready yourself for your future.

As long as you keep your eaars open and make no hasty choices it should be a good experience. I always feel if I only get one new thing to think about it is worth my time. Blessings

Oh, definitely. There are other reasons why students go to their guidance counselors. Some ask for career advice. Others for research purposes. Some take certain tests that the office of their guidance counselors administer. The problem is most students still view guidance counselors as a place to air out problems or the student going there is a problem of the school :)
