Well I just saw a clip from apparently wife swap where a little boy "packed his bags and left" because his "mother for a week" threw away a lot of junk food. Well i wasn't sure what show it was but then found out from another clip it was wife swap. Questions I was going to pose BEFORE I knew it was wife swap? : Do you think the little boy should have been disclipined before it got to the point of over reaction? The boy said, "Bacon is good for me!" Do you think the parents are to blame for this phrase? WELL, I **THOUGHT** it was some sort of healthier living show so thought he was over reacting but THEN when I found out that it was wife swap, my thoughts changed. FIRST, While he shouldn't think bacon is good for him, I don't think his parents were so much to blame. SECOND, here's the questions I want to pose since I do know it's wife swap : DO you think this swapped wife went to far? Cleaning out the fridge and throwing away food they bought out of their hard earned money? Would you have been angry? I havent' seen the whole episode, only clips so I don't know about the other mother's reaction to this, nor what went on in the other family. I know that food prep is one of the issues on most of these episodes. What do you think of the show?

I have watched that show before and will sometimes watch it if I am flipping through and catch it on. They pick the most extreme differences in families and switch them around. They actually played with the religious factor for a little while but I bet that had so much controversy that they didn't continue with that. It is mainly daily habits they look at now..oh..and the richer and the less fortunate...I have seen some episodes like that too. I think it is tougher on the children that have to go through it. I wonder though how much is actually staged. Those reality shows..well...you never know. They only show what they want you to see. I'm sure the people that are on there were reimbursed for their food but it was pretty wasteful and could be considered a smack in the face for someone to come in and throw it all away.

Wife swapping is such a horrible idea! Not only is it immoral and unethical, it is something that will destroy the family. That boy in the show is just a sample of what could result from such concept. Ultimately, that boy will turn into a rebellious child who won't have respect for his parents. Whoever thought of such idea is definitely a pervert who's just "thinking of the fun" behind it but not the repercussions it has.
