I was in elementary when we had a pit bull slash retriever pet dog, she was a gift from my mother's friend. Her name is bumie and she was the cutest pup that I have taken care of, she would always run around play with slippers and chase after the old cat. She was cute and was never the type to attack family growing-up. We had her for 10 good years and at the time that she passed we were in a financial slump that is why we couldn't have her admitted in a clinic. She was my most loved dog me my sister and my mom favored her among all our dogs and when she passed it was the most devastating of all we wept for her and had a friend of mine a seminarian pray over her the day that we were burying her it was in the middle of a Forrest near our village that is beside a watering hole and a huge tree that i buried her, i dug 3 feet deep and 3 feet wide hole and placed her in a cargo box filled with yellow bell flower because she used to get some from our neighbor for her pups to chew on every time she gives birth. Covered her with soil and put smooth stones on top of her grave and visit her every time I come at my mom's place with my lab marco so that I can tell her I miss her and that mom misses her too. Miss yah old gal...

So sad! They give us so much (unconditional) love and joy while they're alive that it's heartbreaking to say goodbye! Dogs should live forever!

It can be just as traumatic to lose a pet as a anyone in your life, animals play a large part in our lives and remain in our hearts, all we can do is give our gorgeous pets the best life we can give them and promise to never let them suffer, I believe animals are a gift to us and we must treasure them..you are a good person.
