Can you tell me good ways for remembering big amount information. Now i have a lot of exams and little time to learn for them. I work and study in the same time and unfortunately i can`t quit my job to have more time for studying. Can you tell me your best ways of remembering a lot of information. The thing that i do is only to read my lessons two maybe three times if i have enough time and thats it. And i feel in the last year that this is not a good way for learning for me, no more. I can`t remember all the important information. I need new ways that will help me really to learn things, not only to read them and after two days to forget the small amount of information that i had remembered. Give me some advice how to get better at learning and remembering.

I tutor my son and found out that he is also finding it hard to remember some meanings or formula or rules in English subject so what I do is to try to find how to put rhymes on it, and I let him sing it, in this way he can sing over and over it without noticing that he memorized it, by the way its effective he almost got a perfect scores in exam

That`s a good way for a child to remember good for you that you helped him, but my information is a lot bigger than a formula or something like this. I`m studying economics in university. One of my problems is that i have small time to learn a lot of things and in the end economics aren`t such easy discipline.

talking about remembering huh. well I attended some course before teaching people to remember stuff. One such way is to relate the information with a certain story. Because we can remember story better, we will be able to retain such information for longer time. For example, if you need to remember a date. The year 1938. you can narrates a story in your mind like "a beautiful lady at 19 married with a man double of her age". Secondly, try to record the information you are studying by reading it out and record it. After you finished studying a certain information, you can turn on the recording and listen to the information once more. This somehow enforces your memory on information. Furthermore, you can always keeps the recording running when you are doing other stuff. Try to recall something that you heard of from a radio. you probably still remember something even though it has been a while. Good luck =)

This technique with ercording sounds good. I can try it sometimes, i just have to find a thing with which i can record the things i`m reading. The other technique with stories is good for remembering years, but i think it`s not good for remembering the information i have to learn and if it is it will take me a lot of time for figuring out some kind of story.

I've found that one of the best ways to imprint information in your brain is to write the information down, by hand, multiple times. It's tedious, and a lot of work, but if you do it will help you retain some of it. Another good way to remember large quantities of information is to break it down into paragraphs, and memorize the paragraphs, then close your eyes and see if you can recite the information. It can be very helpful.
