One of the gerbil babies died last night.

It's kind of sad, but I guess I should have expected it. There being 8 babies, they couldn't all get fed enough.
We noticed him last night, he wasn't moving much at all, and he was quite skinny. I tried to feed him, but he just didn't have the strength.
And now it looks like another one may not make it, which is sad as well.
But then again, the previous litters had babies that didn't survive, so I shouldn't really be alarmed about this.
I just have to watch next time, if we have more litters.

That's so sad. I know it hurts when we lose a pet, no matter how big or small they may be. I've lost pets in my lifetime and every time I felt like I lost someone that was truly a part of my family.

Awwww I'm so sorry to hear about your gerbil. I can see your an animal lover like me. I have two of my dogs die a few years ago and it just about broke my heart. Our pets really do become a part of our family.
