i've read on some blog that windows 8 will run on ARM processor. Is this mean that Intel (X86) in the future will no longer used or will microsoft also shipped a windows 8 for x86?

x86 is really an old arch, i686 and MP compiles are the best way for it. I hope for Tegra support on Win8, so we can put it on product like TrimSlice, and throw away x86 chips.

Win8 will still run on Intel and AMD chips. The major difference between Win7 and Win8 is that Win8 is designed to run on more touch screen and portable kit. Windows obviously thinks this is the way ahead. However, it will be a case of 'hell freezing over' before I do away with my keyboard! haha! I find it difficult enough working with a laptop keyboard, let alone typing on a screen at any speed.
