I observed really hard to teach young kids to learn math and science if we do not have good materials and interesting ways for them. My son is 10 years old and he seems hate about those math and science lesson. Maybe his teacher unable to teach or unable to attract him and I just notice that he dislike due to his lesson book seems boring. So I am thinking about let him learn something over the internet, so he can learn basic of math like substract, multiplying and basic of science in interesting ways. Understand many sites found after googling but need to open one by one to ensure it really suitable for them. Do you have any recommended sites for young kids, elementary school age ?

havefunteaching.com has songs for several subject areas. They have multiples songs(multiplication facts) for most of the numbers 1-9. It has some science songs like one about the phases of the moon, the water cycle and weather. I have used these with my students.

I've watched very interesting stuff for little kids on a TV channel called Da Vinci Learning. Now I see that there are films in you tube. You can search for those math series, I remember Australian animat?d films with songs and funny personages. I found the title of one of the series: “Math's Mansion”. Good luck
