Would you prefer a small or large vehicle? Are you big on fuel efficiency?

Today, me and my uncle were discussing how he would prefer to drive a bigger, more intimidating vehicle regardless of it's fuel efficiency. In contrast, I would prefer a smaller vehicle with good gas mileage, and some speed because the truck I drive now is slow and very inefficient on fuel! It upsets me actually that I don't have the finances to even browse used vehicles but I know in my mind and heart that I'm dedicated to purchasing a vehicle some time in the next 2 years or so! Hopefully, my online earnings by then can knock out a huge chunk on the down payment! Well, the question is myLotters, would you prefer a smaller vehicle (maybe a coupe or a small 4-seater), a medium-sized vehicle (like a regular car or small SUV), or a large vehicle like a big truck, lifted? Are you very concerned about fuel economy, because I surely am?
