have you ever read a book and find it so interesting that when the movie comes out you are like crazy waiting for it to watch. Then after watching it you got disappointed because it's not what you expected. Or vice versa...

I'd have to say the BOOKS are always better than the movies. When I read a book, I picture the characters to my liking. If it talks about the main character being sexy and hot then I picture them the way I THINK is sexy. Then the movie comes out and Im like EWWW. LOL. Two books that I've read that I was really disappointed in the movies were A Walk to Remember and The Last Song. When reading the books, you find out exactly WHAT the walk to remember was but the movie completely screws that up. And it's the same way with the Last Song. It irritates me to NO end! The Notebook was another one. Amazing book! Movie ugh, no so great and the ENDING screwed it all up. Wasn't like the book.

maybe because books are not so expensive to reproduce compared to making it a movie. i mean, the books descriptions of everything are some what near to perfect while in the movies it's really hard to make it possible. an also at times, the budget of making a movie are sometimes limited and they may also have the hardest time picking the perfect actor or actress that would really fit.

I prefer a book to read and then see the movie. Why would you ask me, simply because many things in movies are saved in the movies. I think for me to read a book is much better and much povemche things I can learn. still a matter of personal opinion.

I think that it depends on the person, but I personally generally seem to prefer reading the books. I find that there's generally a lot more in the book than in the movies, which I can certainly understand. Although I do enjoy watching the movies, I kind of prefer reading the books, for one reason or another.

WEll i think its different for each person . I for an instance prefer to watch the movie . First its short and its more interesting . In movies they try to express the things witch you can see , not read and try to undarsand . In books things are more loooooooooooooooooooong and detailed ( its like the only thing i like about books the details) , well i like too that there can be exctra history where the movie is over but i'm not the type of person who like reading ... AT ALL :P
