Why is it many people nowadays are addicted to facebook?

I have been 8 years since i've started facebook. I didnt intended to join this social networking but since it was advertise in television where i first encounter facebook. I decided to join and become a member. Until now, everytime i open my laptop, facebook is the 1st one that i will open. I don't know why this become a habit most of us today... Can u share your 1st experience with facebook?...how this become so addictive?...

I have been in facebook for just a year only. I decided to join facebook since most of my friends are there. Moreover, I conduct training programs and most of my participants always ask for my facebook account so that they can communicate. So now its been a year. I am not really hook on facebook but I do check my account from time to time. I could see that facebook really does provide a means of communicating with everyone. It is very useful indeed. Perhaps this is the reason why, a person would most likely be hooked on the site.

Thank you sir! Your right, i think all us are into facebook nowadays as internet also evolve from time to time. I just can't force myself not to open facebook, but i can't because you know if you have loved ones there, you can communicate and comment at their post which is very good and feel you are with them through communication..:) The founder of facebook, is getting richer and richer...What a cleaver idea for him to have this site..:)

Facebook has been popular demand by most people because it made communication easier like TV or radio programs open up discussions for their topic and it reaches more audiences. It also reaches our friends and family who are abroad to chat with and see their updates to their daily lives. It innovates every now and then that it has chat and games.

Thank you angelmoonlyt, I appreciate your respond. Its very true indeed. We witness the evolution of facebook, even in friendster, facebook dominantly overthrown the site right now. I just dont understand for so many social networking sites facebook is the most popular and widely used by the people?..Well its up to them what social network they want to be part of..:)
