I consider my self 80% vegan because my goal is 100% but I have not reached that point yet. Sometimes I have chicken and fish and turkey during the holiday. Most of my diet is fruit and veggies. Should I consider myself 80% Vegan.

Then I guess you are just on diet, and not a vegan. In my opinion, there's only two type: vegan and not vegan. There's no half vegan or so..

Hmm that's interesting. To be honest every person who chose to become vegan or vegetarian had their reasons. But it is one way or another, eat meat or not. What is your reason for becoming vegan? Because I may be wrong to assume, but it doesn't seem like your an animal rights activist. Unless you were just brought up without meat, like my friend. My friend can eat meat, but since he never ate meat his whole life he doesn't crave it or desire it. So what made you want to become vegan?

I have several reasons, My diet growing up didn't include lots of meats. I ate mostly beans, fruits, starch, and veggies. Meat was rare and I never ate pork or beef. Secondly I believe that I can survive without meat. When I shop I don't find myself craving meat. My husband likes chicken and that has alot to do with my meat consumption. I am more of a social meat eater. Certain meats are off my diet. Third I see animals as living creatures so I feel they should have a chance at life too.
