A friend of mine, who is an inventor, talked about these cars using air as fuel and asked me to find more info online. I don´t know if they are available yet, so I thought some of my friends in myLot might know more than I do about this. I found this movie: http://www.articlesbase.com/videos/5min/3546998 Have you seen this kind of car or driven it?

Yes, the French designed it years ago now & they're building it in quite a few countries around the world today. You can check out their website, see the history & every technical detail about it. Just run a MyLot search on "theaircar" & a website with that name should come up. I think I mentioned this one before in one of my discussions - perhaps the one on the water car that the Japanese invented a while ago. I haven't seen any getting around in real life here yet. They might catch on if they're cheap enough to start with & compressed air from service stations is currently free, so you'd make your money back very quickly. I don't know who would service them if they broke down or insure them if they were in an accident.

Thanks for the info, veganbliss! I found the site. I suggested my friend to ask those who sell cars, as they should have the latest information. Aircars, watercars and even hybrids would be better than the cars using fuels that are common these days. According to an article from 2008, the car prices would be a lot cheaper than the ones we have now. And a compressor works well to fill the tank. Let´s see what comes next..

This is the first time I've ever heard of this. Now I have heard of electric cars that do not need gas, but never ones that might run on air. I'm sure if and when they do come out on the market though I'm sure they will be very expensive. After having watched the video clip you provided I must say that they are not a very attractive car. I don't like the shapes of the cars nor the colors either for that matter.

I saw on another site that was three years old and it seemed there that the cars should cost less than the ordinary cars. But who knows? You can do more research if you like, there is a lot more info online. At least the fuel should be cheaper..

Yes, who knows what they invent next. I would like to see many cars like this - I like things that are good for the environment and friendly for the wallet.. We can always make some searches here in myLot and find out more and perhaps earn a bit at the same time..

I have seen these innovative cars before or at least read about the technology. This is definitely a step in the right direction as there is no real need for us to be powering our cars using petroleum based fuels anymore. Those days should have been over long ago. compressed air and hydrogen as well as electric powered vehicles are obviously better options for the planet, but unfortunately the powers that be have too much financial interest in oil to finance these technologies on a grand scale. So it is up to the little guys as usual to show the way forward.

Hi, RawBill1 Yes, we can at least make our own choices and hope that they may influence those who produce cars. Air must be a very cheap fuel. I can´t see why oil companies couldn´t start producing cars that are environment friendly. If people want this kind of cars, it should be an easy choice for them. We need a world government - the one that is mentioned in Daniel 2:44, one that is built on love and not greediness..

Oil companies do not want to see environmentally friendly technologies come on board as they take away their profits. The oil companies are only interested in sucking oil out of the ground and selling it for huge profits. Sadly this industry is way too powerful for things to change as fast as I believe they need to change.

Yeah, that is so true - greed is a big problem in our days. And money seems to be more important than the love to our neighbor. That is all a sign of the end of this old system of things. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 The new system will be better..

Oh, yes, he speaks Finnish.. Have to show him this, thanks for the link! He often asks me to look for inventions in the net and does some research in the local library. I learn a lot from him..
