I smoke. But I had quit for almost 2 years before I went back to this habit of mine and that was after smoking for more than 10 years. Well, the reason why I smoked again isn't relevant :) But the fact remains that anyone can quit smoking. It's not easy, but it's doable. How did I quit? I quit cold-turkey, and I had a mighty good reason why. It was fear. I thought I was going to die at that time due to emphysema. So I guess you should really have a strong reason to quit, stronger than your reason to smoke.

Hello! Ten years ago,I also smoking, when I found that smoking is harmful to health,I decide to give up smoking. I bought some sugar grain, when I want to smoke,I eat a grain of sugar. So after a period of time,I give up smoking. Hope you to give up smoking success!

I have smoked since highschool and I am now in my 30's. To be honest it takes time after time of trying to smoke. Eventually if you want it bad enough you will. I have found that with those that quit and with my knowledge of trying to quit it's best to find all your "habits" that come with the actual smoking and change those first. Like if you always smoke on break at work at one specific time every day. Change up the times or try to not smoke at work for both breaks and only one or not at all. If you smoke when you get in the car always, try not to every other drive. I found that my most hardest habits to break are smoking after I ate, smoking when I'm stressed or bored. And I trully believe if you can change your habits of smoking & or stop them all together all that is left is kicking the nicotine and that only takes a little bit. After that find away to fight the urge which will be much less now because you have changed or stopped the habits that trigger your brain "it's time to smoke". I hope this helps. I hope you keep at it and never give up. Eventually you will be sucesseful. Good luck
