Do you read news/gossip about famous people?

Today I read in the morning new paper that "TomKat" have gotten married. The lives of famous people are given as much space as the "real" news about the world. Do you read this type of "news" and does it interest you what happens in famous peoples lives? I must admit I think it's fun reading about it now and again, but the amount there is now is getting silly...

i do read about lives of famous personalities-i enjoy it ,for fun,to pass time

I also find it fun, sort of "light" reading - I only object to it when it becomes more important than "real" news about important issues. Thanks for your comment!

I don´t read gossips much... In fact barely read them. It kinda makes me depressed to see how fast they buy a new car, change husband/wife...

I agree, the perspective on life is so different from them. It seems to be a fascinating life, but not in a positive way, not one I'd like to live.
