Have you heard Josh Groban's latest album "Illuminations"?

I know his new album has been out for awhile, but I didn't see a discussion on this so I thought I would start one.
I am a die-hard Groban fan and love just about everything he does. So, it's obvious that I love this album too, but this is probably his most out-of-the-box album to-date.
He wrote many of the songs, had a new producer (Rick Rubin) and toned it down in terms of instrumentals. I love the way it was recorded. You can actually hear every beautiful note as if he were in the same room (or car, or wherever you may be :).
What are some of your opinions about his latest work?

Actually this is the first I'm hearing that he came out with a new album. Truth is I haven't really listened to the radio in years. There are very few singers/songs out there that I like. I do however like Josh Groban. He is truly very talented & I find his voice to be very soothing.

You should pick it up for yourself (or ask Santa for a copy). It really is beautiful and different than his previous work. He also has a Christmas CD "Noel" that is just amazing!
He has had a few songs on the radio, and I think that is why not a lot of people know about him. He's gaining popularity though by being on different talk shows, etc. He is hosting Live with Kelly this week and doing a great job.
