we indonesia have a social problem and i think it is eating prblem too. indonesian are produ when they go to kfc, mcd, etc to enjoy junk food. they think they go to higher class when visit such restaurant. however the restaurants offer junk food and soda and they are not good for health actually. i know in the west junk food, mcd, kfc, etc are not for high clas or catagorically high class restaurant. but in here most of people think they are high class place to eat. what a shame

so i can say, Be yourself.. many people are losing their identity and always follow another life style.. so, be yourself

wulania, it`s depends on our self.. if we want to take the western culture, it`s up to you..but for me,it`s weird for me.. iam still eating Tempe penyet, iam still looking for dangdut song sometimes.. iam proud of my culture..iam proud to be indonesian people

I eat in such fast-food chain. And I don't consider myself a high class eating in those places because I think everybody can afford to buy there since most prices are reasonable and affordable.

It's like that, life style people of Indonesia. People Indonesia possessed properties, which snob. If can eat at the restaurant, wearing expensive items, is a pride. People Indonesia, has no longer a simple nature. For people who do not have much money like me, forcing me to live simply.

there are many people who love to eat. for me it's very nice to meet everyone for themselves. I also sometimes eat unhealthy things but then I go and run. Everyone has the right to eat and have their diet and lifestyle. For some, this simply requires work while others do it for fun. nice day!

yea some time i eat meat alot, but not too ofetn. just for enjoying life, but it is not my daily meal

Here in the Philippines, McDonalds, Jollibee, KFC, and the like are for middle class. Well, we can also say that if the poorest of the poor can eat in such fastfood, they have edge with others.

Each of the country follows their won life style and their own eating style. In some countries including your country used to have snacks or junk foods as the common food. I my country we have Rice with fish curry and vegetable curry to have in most of the time. It is very tasty and is good for health. Did you ever have Kerala dishes ?

i dont know kerala. but in indonesia we eat rice every day, three times. we lso eat curry. but we write it "kari" or "kare". i dont like junk food and soda, they are westerners influence. they are really bad for body and health

few years ago most of the time i eat KFC for lunch, not for life style but it's what i can afford, because few years ago KFC have a cheap combo from 3pm to 5pm(the hour maybe wrong because i can't remember the exact time) for just Rp. 5000 i think there's no lunch were that cheap. I don't know if today the offer still exist or not, but i remember one time i eat gado-gado at cibubur and i pay about Rp. 10.000, it was much more expensive than KFC.
