celebrating of my father's birthday! / myLot

hi guys,today is my father's birthday and as i've said to my previous discussion this is one occasion we need to celebrate this month of December,my father's birthday,i bought healthy foods that he really wanted to eat,and of course also the his favorite wine,and the best of all is the presence of us his children. If your parents birthday,what do you usually buy or usually give?do you always celebrate their birthday in any ways?how will you celebrate their birthday?

I live far away from my parents so I usually send them gifts and a card. Then on the day of their birthday I will call to wish them a Happy Birthday. I really wish we lived close to each other because then I would definitely have a party for them. They are not getting any younger. Next month my dad will be 77 and my mom 76. I would love to have been there this year but my daughter is having a baby. I will be traveling to New Mexico and staying there for two month helping out. I hope to go and celebrate in January of 2013 for my parents birthdays. I just hope and pray they will be phyically and mentally healthy still.
