I am a member of shvoong as well, and I have to admit I do not make much money over there either. I use popular keywords, write decent informative articles, and still only generate pennies. I make way more money by putting my articles up on hubpages, you should give them a try for your next few articles.

i also join there, but it's difficult to get money there. my article always rejected, maybe because i copy from kaskus. ahaha

yes i too joined shvoong 5 months back and had 1745 for my 61 articles and made .25 cents till today and why i dont know now iam not allowed to make any postings

Shvoong is a good site if know how to use it. This site really pays, I already reached payout several times. It's right that at the beginning you only reach some cents and that you may feel disappointed. If you compare how many articles has been written by oldern publishers, you will note a difference. So, you need more summaries done and they have to be written with quality. You also can realize publicity of your summaries to reach more visitors (for example, put the link of the summary in facebook) and the tasks you fill in are very important too, so the online readers may find easier through the SEO to what you have written. The earnings you recieve are based on all your summaries, month by month (not as here where you are paid only once for each post). So if you get enough articles written, you can reach your minimum pay out every month. If you carry on, patiently, you will see that your earnings will grow every month and if you use Shvoong for long time enough, you get paid regularly and not only by the minimum payout, as the amount grows up monthly. The matter is that nowadays we would like to get our money as soon as possible and without many effort. We see in internet the best way to get an extra income and that's right. But even here, on internet, we have to work for our money and constantly. It's not the same as a job where you realize just a number of jobs and get paid for it.

LMAO. I would suggest you visit a different site. With 34 articles I think I'd be earning well passively every month. I'm into freelance writing as well. What I do is post my articles in exposeknowledge wait till they approve of my articles earn upfront payment for every article then post them after 2 weeks in another site which allows re-posting of recent posted articles from other websites given you own the article. :) Exposeknowledge pays low upfront payment for each article but at least they're not withholding my rights for displaying the articles on other websites so I'm fine with the low rate. Thats extra income you know. :D
