I'm letting the citadel fall.

I'm the owner of a clan of approximatly 50 members. For a little while there our citadel was doing well but after the first few weeks it got harder & harder to get people to participate in the upkeep. I was constantly having to hunt clanmembers down & make them go do their share. It got to be such a headache. This week it doesn't even appear that we're going to have the minimum five members visit the citadel to keep it from becoming locked. Frankly at this point I'm giving up on it. while it's a good way to train some skills the difficulty of keeping enough of a clan involved isn't worth it. Jagex had a good concept but implemented it poorly. What is your take on the clan citadels?

I don't do the clans. But it makes sense for you to let it go. If they won't stay involved, let 'em die.

You should think about why they stopped participating perhaps the clan got too quiet or there wasn't enough planned events within the clan. But like you said hard to get people to partake once they lose interest.
