Did you know this? Facebook's predecessor is apparently a website called Facemash. I found it on a domain listing site.

Yes And I have learned of this fact too through the movie "the social network." I just feel that Zuckerberg really got that idea from the facemash and was genius enough to improve the lousy idea and turned it out to be the famous facebook now.

Yeah, I know it from "The Social Network" movie . It's a movie about how Zuckerberg founded Facebook :). Well, it's a Hollywood film and not documentary film, anyway. So, you might find a lot of drama there. But still it's a good movie.. Anyway, about Facemash, here is what Wikipedia said: "Mark Zuckerberg wrote Facemash, the predecessor to Facebook, on October 28, 2003, while attending Harvard as a sophomore. According to The Harvard Crimson, the site was comparable to Hot or Not, and "used photos compiled from the online facebooks of nine houses, placing two next to each other at a time and asking users to choose the 'hotter' person"

Nope did not know that at all. What is that suppose to do anyway? I guess there are so many websites out there now days it is crazy haha. They all will do the same thing and have the same stuff most of the time. If not they will turn out the same later. How is it set up basically?
