For me I always use mylot 'tag' while starting a discussion as well as when commenting to other discussion. But what about you? Do you also follow the same or just 'skip' this step. Just curious , nothing else

Hello Seobuzz, Its good to see that you put tag on the discussions as it helps others to search discussions through these. I also do it and never skip this option.

I try to tag as much as possible and only skip if I don't find a word that fit to discussion immediately. I think it is important to tag any discussion as those words are used for searching.

I agree with you mashnn tagging is important so that our discussions can be categorized properly and it is also for our (the members) convenience, because tagging makes it easier for us to find/search for discussions.

I always tag my discussions as many times, when I go back to make comments for the answers I got, I can find other similar discussions that also interest me. I donĀ“t even skip this step at my PMs.

While starting a discussion I do give tags. But while responding if the tag I want is not included already, I will add it. otherwise while responding I do not add the same tags in my response also. good day.

I always put tags on my discussions and after I make a response on other's discussions. This will help other people to find our discussion. It will also help to minimize duplicate discussions.

I also like to tag and comment on the discussion. Sometimes I do not get any tags so most probably I will look at the discussion started by others to know more about tags. I think it is good to comment and put tags on the discussion started not only by us, but also by others.

Before I skip but now I have to tag them believing they'll be found easily by interested responders. I believe tags must be used when required.

I do, whenever I start my discussion I always put at least one "tag" to my discussion, and when I respond to other's discussion I also add "tag" but when I already see in the tags listed the "tag" that I am thinking then there's no need for me to add a tag unless I can think of another word/s that can be useful to categorize the discussion.

To give out a more informative content, yes I do tag some of my posted discussions and replies to a discussion. It somehow helps to make the discussion more searchable in the search bar and putting hints on the context of such discussion.

yes i do. because that makes sure that when some user is searching by some word my posts also feature in the result if they have that tag.

Oh,yes, there is an option of "skip" the tagging process. But for me, i always put some tags on my discussion. But as for the + - symbol, i seldom use them. Only when i think the posts are so great , i will put + on it.

I also put tags if I initiate a discussion. I guess it helps other members to search just in case they want to look for something or if they want to put up a topics for discussion. By doing this it will lessen duplication. I also put tags on every responses I post.

I do. by tagging our discussion, we make sure that people can find our discussion or comments when they type such keyword in the search bar. We will be able to get to any discussion that we are interested with tags. One would have to go through thousands of post to get to the wanted discussion if there is no tag.

I haven't been posting any discussions recently, and when I did post a discussion I would tag it. I have been tagging discussions posts that I have been responding to. I don't know why, because I believe people with post under their interests rather than doing a search on a particular topic. lol..I've just been tagging, to get a better glimpse into myself to see what really matters to me, and I am seeing a definite pattern.
