What should I do?

December 14, 2011 8:22am CST
I recently had a birthday couple weeks ago and shortly before my computer supply unit went out and I needed it replaced, a friend offered to replace it for me and said to count it as my birthday gift I really need to get it fixed since its my main pc. It's been a while and I still haven't received it because she hasnt ordered it yet I don't want to be bratty about it but I really need to get the part.

hi there.. If it is stopping your work or creating problem for you then you must talk to your friend. Don't sound bratty or demanding, choose your words carefully & explain how the delay is affecting your things... Good luck!

There is nothing you can do :) except one would be to remind your friend on her present, but of course in a nice way, you don't directly call her about it, you just start a conversation about anything ang just say that "oh, I just remembered, how's my birthday gift?" Just remember to say it in a polite way, cause you can't be bossy about it.

That's a great idea thank you, I know I have to be polite that's why I was so apprehensive in I gong it up.

It would also be possible for you to be upfront towards the person and just say what you ought to say in an open-mind and honest way of expressing your thoughts about such concern. Maybe then she will be reminded about it and the rest is for you to get excited and just be glad. :-)
