Your Guy and your clothes

Would you let your a men that you are in a relationship with tell you what to wear and not to wear because they want to appear as they want and not what you want?
I have never been told by my husband to wear certain clothes because he doesn't like. He know all to well I'll wear what I want I might take request but I don't promise him that Ill wear what he wants.

My guy wouldn't be my guy for long if he told me what to wear. I'm not married to him, lol. Besides, he doesn't care what I wear!

Yes Xansus, if I were married I wouldn't care what i wear. He would Have to tell me what to wear , if and when I get out of the house. Yes for me a marriage would be That oppressive. I know most wifes choose what they wear , what they will do and the like but that isn't for me. That is why I will never marry.

Me I wouldn't care if my husband likes it or not. If I like it it's stayin on. I know what I like and what looks good on me but he's a man he don't know what works for me but me. To me a man has no busy telling his girl what to wear if he loves her hell let her wear what she wants.

I really don't think my guy cares about what I wear, as long as I don't wear something that makes me look trashy. If we are out shopping and I see things I like I ask what he thinks. He doesn't ever say no to things but it just makes me feel better when I know his opinion. I'll even ask sometimes what I should wear for something if I have no clue what to do. But he never makes me wear anything, he's easygoing and likes whatever lol

Hahahah I'm sure! That's probably every guy's favorite outfit! Clothes on us is just an inconvenience to them lol

I wear fited clothes still when pregnant. I don't like looking baggy until I go to bed. I wear fitted clothes that feels nice on my a little lose but not too lose.

What part of the start of the discusstion above did I say I need to ask my husband what to were. I never said thy your assuming on that one. I said I might take a reissued but that don't mean I'll wear what he wants me to. He knows ever well not to mess with me especially right now while pregnant again. No man in this world can tell me what to do, or what to wear as well as what to eat. I do what I want to do I wear what I want to wear since I was 7 and he wears what he wants to wear and I never say anything about it and he never says anything to me. More then half of the time he loves what ever I'm wearing for the day even in pjs with me hair all ratted up tired as he'll from taking care of our daughter and being pregnant.

Well, most of the times when guys do request for some way of dressing from a girl. It's because he wants the girl to be only for him. He doesn't want too much of her to be seen by other guys. In a way it's selfish, yet a caring and protective act.
I myself is a guy. I have been with my girlfriend for 821 days. Some of the time I see her wears a little bit sexy in front of other guys. I would feel sad and hurt. But I remain silent and let her choose what she wants to wear, even if it hurts.

HI ShyBear88.. This is a very interesting discussion and I see your point here. I have seen a lot of my friends who are very protective of their girlfriends and forbid them to wear certain dresses. Though they seem happy I dont think in the long run it will work out.
My case is a little different. I trust my fiance's judgement when it comes to dressing but she makes sure she always checks it with me before going out. What can I say? I think she dresses well and decently too and she knows it too.. But I think she gets more confidence when I tell her that the dress is awesome and I like it.So never have I had the need to forbid her but only have needed to tell her how good she looks :)

I never ask my husbNd what he thinks it's always the same answer so I know what he is going to say if I ask something when it comes to clothes. To me a man that tells a women what to wear is probably a control freak or worse je is a men that will abuse her.
