What do people think of this video on you tube scotrail no ticket. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bvnOgxd6wo A student fell asleep on the train, he'd had a few drinks to celebrate finishing his exams and the conductor came round and asked for his ticket. The guy had an outbound ticket but not one for the return journey and he started being abusive to the older railway worker. A big guy sitting behind him asked the conductor if he wanted him thrown off the train and he said yes. The big guy grabbed the student and threw him onto the platform and he landed on his face. Personally, I don't think they should have touched the student, as the big guy is not a railway worker or a policeman and instead they should have called the railway police to talk to him about buying a ticket, so I think all three of them are in the wrong. What do mylotters think to this scenario?

That is fine for me, no one was hurt in the process, the student get to learn a good lesson that every time he go on the train, he need to buy a ticket, if not he will to face the prospect of getting throw off the train, he also get to regain his sobriety without costing him a dime, and a great lesson that cost him nothing to learn in life. While the big guy got a chance to flex his muscle and show off his extraordinary strength to all the passengers onboard, and the train conductor get his count tally with the total number of head in the train, he is good to answer to all his boss queries and live up to his call of accountability. Everyone is happy and me too, it is such a happy ending.

Hi Lampar, it is not such a happy ending, the conductor has been suspended pending a police investigation, as the student was injured when he hit his face on the concrete, the guy who threw him off the train is potentially facing an assault charge but that will depend if the case gets in front of the sheriff (he may just say they have all behaved badly and tell them not to do it again, though once the lawyers get involved it can be very expensive for all parties)
