The only way to get rid of the negatives of the past is to start anew for the future, you have to fill that void somehow, Love is like an addiction you have to replace the addiction with something else and in this case you have to go out and maybe find someone new, and I have found in life you always find better.

That's good that you got rid of everything... it's a great way to move forward. My boyfriend's ex still has pics of them posted on Facebook, making it look like they are still very happy with his kids and everything. They have been apart for over two years and she has supposedly moved on and is very happy, but there are no pics of her new bf posted on there. We have mutual friends that just told me about it and needless to say I'm not thrilled since we have been together well over a year now.

It takes time to heal the pain. I've been into that situation before. It took a year for me to finally moved on. I just kept myself busy until I realized that I forgot him already and he is not worth it!

Hang in there hun... it will get better! I lost my husband over five years ago in a car accident and time really does heal. I can honestly say that I am very happy now... I've been dating someone for over a year... and I never thought that I could or would be happy again. Take this time to find you again... learn how to love yourself... and when the time is right, the right person will come in to your life.

Time will heal all wounds. It's going to be tough just know that there is something better for you out there. Letting go is one of the hardest things in the world to do. Forgiving others and yourself will free your energy. When we live with regrets we are not fair to ourselves. Getting out and meeting new people can help remind you that the world still has much to other. Learn to love being by yourself, concentrate on something that is for you and that brings you joy and confidence. I have found if you can apply that energy to something productive or healthy like running or exercise, you will feel a little better about yourself everyday that passes. Good Luck!
