There's quite a few things that I will do something that I enjoy doing. I might watch a movie, read a book, go for a walk, or something like that. That's usually what I do when I'm feeling down.

There are many things that I can do when I am not feeling the best. It does in fact seem like music never fails to make me feel a bit better. There is just something inspiring and wonderful about music that really stirs a number of emotions within me. There are going to be many times where music is just the thing that cures most of my ills. Also writing tends to be one of the cheapest and ultimate forms of therapy to say the very least. There are just going to be times where when I put pen to paper or in the case fingers to keyboard, there is just something where I feel a little bit better. Even if I am just typing something that no one will see, just the ability to vent in someway really just makes me smile.

Wow I think I have never seen such a short discussion before.. usually people add some situation or incident to the question they ask here when starting the discussion.. like what led them to think about that question.. or why they are asking the question.. or sometimes just adding their own answer to it.. I would like to know what cheers you up.. for me it is watching cartoon or drawing ans some times using my computer also cheers he up..

to cheer me up i eat peanuts my favorite comfort food...or if i can't get my hands on some peanuts i eat junkfood... my second favorite comfort food and then i cry my heart out until all my negative feeling are gone. how about you vanilla...what do you do to cheer yourself up?:)

Hey friend, When I feel sad or down what I do is go for a run, simple jog, or just do some Cardio exercises at home. I also listen to good music and stay away from depressing music. I go to a park, shopping, or to a museum to distract myself. Something that really helps me when i feel down is to write down what I feel, it gives me relief at the end. Happy myLotting

Inhale-exhale,,listen to a mellow or classical music. It somehow ease the burden.

There are quite a bit of things that will cheer me up when I am down. I will listen to music that always makes me happy and take a nice hot bath while listening to music makes me even happier. Reading is a good way for me to get my mind off of negative things. Doing yoga and meditating really helps me to relieve a lot of tension and stress. Playing basketball is always really fun for me and the exercise makes me feel a lot better about everything. I think that the simple joys that we have in life will always have the power to cheer us up when we are down. I think that sometimes when you are sad you just need soemthing to distract you from your thoughts that are depressing you and will help you take your mind off things.

Will listen to some mild musics to get out of that sadness first. Then after sometime will think what went wrong and I will try to rectify it. Sitting and being sad for something which went wrong will make to feel us depressed. We should treat that situations and we should try to overcome it by doing something which we really love to do. Some may overcome their sadness by playing some sports,doing yoga etc.

When feeling down,tired or stressed I usually eat.Eating is my outlet to release and think.I like to eat my fave foods and enjoy the moment for awhile.
