Customer Dis-Service... What a Pain.

So my wife ordered some products from the company we work for using our discount. Since they didn't have any of it in the warehouse where we work it had to be shipped from one of the stores. The customer service representative placed the order in her own name & had it shipped to the corporate office which is about 40 miles away from where we work ( even further if we made the trip from home ). WTF... Now she's saying that we'll have to come get it when it arrives, never mind the fact that we're not getting a notice since it's not in our name so we don't have a tracking number to know when it arrives. What a freakin retard. She works at our corporate office , she should know that we don't get off work early enough to get there before they close. We're on a similar freakin schedule & they're 40 miles away.. Add that to all the trouble I have with the buyers on a daily basis & I've come to the conclusion that our corporate office must have a collective IQ of 4. Is it any wonder our economy is in the toilet when the people in charge have no common sense? AND then there's the B.S. from Walgreens. My wife & daughter go to the doc today & get a couple prescriptions. My wife drops them off & gets told they'll be ready in about 2 hrs. I'm passing through town separately at about the right time so I'm asked to pick them up. My wife finishes the trip home ( we live another 1/2 hr away )only to get a call saying "I'm sorry we didn't have those in stock & shouldn't have taken the prescriptions". My wife tells them I'll be arriving shortly & to let me pick up the notes so I can take them to the next town ( which is semi close to where we live ) to see if they can fill them there. I arrive at Walgreens only to be told. We don't have anything for you. I head on home & inform my wife they didn't have the prescriptions only to have to head back down & pick them up after their employees feed us nothing but B.S. over the phone. Walgreens didn't even apologize when they handed me the notes. I think CVS may get our business now since all I had to do was cross the street to get it filled there. They actually paid attention & checked on their stock quickly.

I get all of my meds from Walgreen's. For the most part, haven't had much trouble. I did have an issue with one prescription one month, though. It was delayed mainly because they had one employee with a predominant dumb gene. Companies are only as good as their weakest (or dumbest/ignorant) employee, I think.

Then that would require a recalculation & put them at a -12.

I agree that it seems your corporate office seems to be run by a bunch of senseless twits, but there seems little you can do about it unfortunately. Unless, is there someone that is in charge that you can file a complaint with? You would think they would treat their own employees a little bit better. As for Walgreens I believe they should have an 800 number you can call to complain about their pharmacy. You wasted a lot of gas having to drive back & forth like that so the least they could do is reimburse you for that at least. My husband & I take our prescriptions to either Walmart or Sam's Club. They are much cheaper then either Walgreens or CVS. Not sure if you have either of those stores where you live, but if you do that's where I would go from now on.

WTF - pretty much sums up your day, huh? When things go crazy like that in my life someone is usually pregnant in our family~! lol! It sounds like you may have been very generous with calculating your corporate office workers as having a collective IQ of 4.. maybe if you add in the morons from Walgreens it might be about a 2!! Sorry you had a crazy day - may tomorrow always be better!
