what will you do when you can't fall asleep at night?

Sometimes I cant fall asleep at night ,just like now. what can I do about it?

Usually, when i can;t fall asleep at night, i would put a pillow in my husband's eyes and open the lampshade on my side. Then , i would get the bible and read. As i read on, i begin to fell sleepy . Only then would i put back the bible in the lampshade table, and switch off the lampshade light.

Yes, i love reading. But that was before, when i resigned. Then when i have a full time job i was again busy. It's the bible that is now that i can read on my allotted time for it.

Well it happens to me sometimes too. When i can't sleep at night, i usually try to hear some music, especially mellow music. It could make you fells more relaxed and it helps me making easier to sleeps. It is easier to sleep when your body is relaxed so i think you should try that too.

What I do is to just close my eyes and think of nothing or just stare at the wall. If these don't work for you, then better spend your hours in something creative or informative like what others mentioned here.

The best solution has already been mentioned, "Reading". But you can also try watching TV; ofcourse at slow volume. If you are a student then studying is the best option to make you feel sleepy within no time.

If i can't sleep at night I used to browse Internet or sometimes I used to hear songs which invites sleep. Usually I get good sleep at night but sometimes get it. It's only SOMETIMES.

Difficulty in sleeping at night can be remedied by drinking warm drink like milk or simply warm water. deep breathing too can facilitate relax your mind. Sometimes, it is caused by too much activity of the brain and it continues to work and it makes the person active. you can also try to listen to soft relaxing music.

If I can't sleep at night and attack by insomnia I usually surf the net or read books.Sometimes I watch TV or movies to make my eyes feel tired and eventually sleep with make the TV on till morning hehehe.

well you should exercise.. you must be over fatigue and your body dont cooperate with you well. glass of water before you sleep will do also.
