For almost four years now, I am suffering from a form of a recurring allergy on both of my hands. This allergy looks like small balls of water that turns into wounds eventually. My dermatologists said that it's only because of dry skin so she prescribed a hypo allergenic and unscented lotion plus betametasone cream. Those medications help a lot but the problem is, the allergy keeps on coming back. Do you have a recurring allegies of your own? What did you do to make it go away PERMANENTLY?

My friend, have you tried consulting other dermatologists? In cases such as that, where it is recurrent, it is advisable to seek others' opinion.

I actually do. I have consulted at least ten dermatologist and as I have pointed out below, their advise are sometimes contradicting and confusing. But most of them agreed that this cannot be cured permanently by medication, instead by avoideing what triggers the allergy. The problem is, I don't know what triggers my allergy!

Ten dermatologists and yet no one detected what triggers your allergy. I think, they have those tests that identifies what is really your allergen. Although i guess, it costs much though.

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been struggling for allergy for almost 4 years. Based on what I've learned there is no such thing as cure for allergy or we can't let it go away Permanently. Your allergy will tend to return if you're not going to be aware what triggers your allergy. Try to assess your self, it might be because you have eaten something that you are really allergic.

That is also what other dermatologist told me. I have consulted quite a handful of them and sometimes the medications and advice that they are giving contradicts with each other. I even encounter a dermatologist who advised me to have my liver checked because of this allergy. When I came back for a follow up check up, a new dermatologist is already in her office and he bad mouthed his former colleague saying that the procedures she advised and the medications she'd given are not correct. Kinda confusing actually.

Stuff like this on your skin is annoying. I have to deal with a lot of skin issues myself, and the problem is when a Doctor does not know what to do, and so you feel at a loss. There are things we can do to help it, but if you are Diabetic like me finding things that always seem to help is hard. I do hope that somehow they can get down to the bottom of what is causing this, and help prevent it more in the future.

My sister have that kind of allergy when she was 4 years old. My mom always rubbed a lotion that have prescription by her dermatologists but the allergy still not healing so she try my grandmother herbal medicine. She put a oil with pepper and after a month its gone. I don't know if the oil with chili really helps..

I have it, it will appear if I get in touch with certain dust or animals, but I don't know exactly what are them up to now. The most effective way to avoid this allergy is by maintain my immune system, as long as I am very well I would be okay, but if I am dropped and get in touch with those things, it is irritated me directly. So, take care of yourself, it would be help you and consult some doctors to certain you in curing it.
