As we all know that dallas mavs was the previous Champions last 2010-2011 seasons, as far As I know, they already have vince carter and Lamar ODOm who obviously has the power to have a championship. many says that when you are a champion means all the pressure will be on your shoulder, But I know dirk nowitzki can handle it because his team right now i totally a complete team. I bet the miami heat will still be there opponent in the Finals in 2011-2012. :) cheers mavs fans..

hello there. it is still too early to say that the Mavericks can win it again this time.they may have new players in Odom and Carter but they lost Tyson Chandler.that is a very big shoes to fill as far as the Center spot is concerned. however, Mavs fans must not be concerned because the Mavs acquired Sean Williams.he is a 6 foot 10 inches guy that can play either power forward or center position.

thats true, it is still early to say, but as a pure mavs fans, you have to believe in it.,.you cannot achieve your goal, if you have doubts in what you want to achieve. It the same thing as winning the championship again, just like from the last finals, the fans has not let their hopes break. so thats why they achieve their dream..:) keep beleiving mavs fans...

But they lost far more then just Chandler. They lost 6 players. Carter is a good player, Odom as well, but all in all they lost more than they got in return. I think they are not in a very good shape.

I agree with rencarl Mavs won't have a hard time this time because of losing Tyson Chandler even though Chandler is not a big time scorer he is a very important reason why they win the championship last season. Mavs have been a great team for almost a decade but hasn't won a championship before because of the lack of reliable center and now they are back to that situation because Haywood doesn't turn out to be the player Mavs expect him to be when they trade for him from Washington. And getting many new players and lesser games because of shortened season is not a good combination.

I dont think they will win again. Make no mistake, im very happy that Dallas won the title and im a big Nowitzki fan, but I know the kings time has come. James is going to start his dynasty this year! He now has all it takes. LA is out of competition, New York lacks a decent PG. Boston has the best PG in the competition, but the Celtics are simply old. Maybe the Thunder can tip the balance a bit. The Clippers are decent too.
