Can I still Ask Gifts to My God Mother and Father?

I just wanted to ask this question to you guys since last Christmas day I haven't got the chance to visit each of them because I was busy throughout that day. Also, now that I am old, I feel much shy to ask gifts from them. If they give me, I would receive it with all my heart. I met one of my godmother once before Christmas, she said to come to her house because she will give something to me. But Christmas is over, do I still have to come? What do you think guys?

Parents will always see you as their child how much old you become...So i think it is okay for you to go and see them...Maybe they want to be with you like when you were young..Besides its the holiday time..You cannot skip this opportunity.. If you do, You are gonna feel dejected about it and then go through the whole process again the next holiday season...

Thanks my friend for a positive response. I like it. But I was shy to go there so I didn't proceed to my plan. Also, I am not used to asking. I just wait. I am okay whether they give me or not. It is not a problem.

Why not go over? I suppose the invitation still stands. They probably want to see you just like you want to see them. It is the caring and concern that matters more than a gift or material item.

You are right. Now, I am planning to go there one of these days. Maybe it is not too late.
