Today is the day after Christmas. My neighbor is throwing a parteeeeeeee, he and his friends are outside barbecuing, drinking, cursing, playing loud music. It is totally our of season. His visitors has parked their cars in front of my house. Now this man is 60+ years old. I hope that by night they will break this party up and go home. We have rain and thunder storms in the forecast for tonight. Now how is your day after Christmas going?

Oh that sounds like fun…NOT. I guess if you were to call the police about this, they would know it was you and give you a hard time. I’m having a good time. Been mylotting a little bit and been watching TV and talking with family. Other than that not much. I just hooked my computer to wifi so now I am wireless… and that makes me feel good. We got wifi for Christmas. So now I don’t have a cord!!!!

You are right about calling the cops, I try not do anything that will draw any violence actions toward myself. I can see by your post that you had a good Christmas. Enyoy your wireless connections, I am still using a desktop.

Hi Chevee. I was so sore on the day after Christmas that I could barely move! I spent most of the day in bed. Thankfully, there was nothing going on where I had to be anywhere or do anything so I cherished my time in bed. I had been a baking fool for the two days leading up to Christmas day and it was simply too much for me. I baked peanut butter cups, cookies, cakes and pies. I had enough for everyone who was supposed to come over. I had MORE than enough, actually. Then, Christmas day, my sons came over in the morning, along with my oldest son's girlfriend and her four-year-old son. We had brunch, then they were off to her mother's house. Well, my youngest went back home because he had been up all night and needed sleep. My closest friend and her family were supposed to come over later but didn't because her husband had just had knee surgery a few days earlier and wasn't up to the 110 mile trip. So, not only was the day after Christmas quiet but also Christmas day, for the most part. I was fine with that, even though it was a bit of a letdown on Christmas day. I was hurting pretty badly that day, too, so I just enjoyed my alone time. I think this was the last Christmas dinner I'll be fixing. Doing it all by myself is just too much for me these days. It's time to pass the torch to someone else. I just wish I had someone to pass it to! Maybe my son's girlfriend can do it next year. She can do it here if she wants, since their house is really tiny. (She and my son are expecting their first baby in August and are very happy together so I expect there will be many years to come with the two of them at the dinner table together. )

How odd. And inconvenient for you and the rest of your neighbors. I nursed a migraine the day after Christmas. It came on around the middle of Christmas Day and continued on to today. I don't know why I got one. It had been a good six days since I had one.

My whole Christmas weekend has been very quiet and for me that's a good thing. It is my daughters year to go to her folks which is a full days drive away. I have always had an open invitation but as we get older and experience health issues we just aren't as portable as we once were and I'm better off right here. We did have our own little Christmas gathering here and it was very nice and I got to see my two Grandchildren happily open some gifts. All best wishes my friend in the New Year 20012. Wow were are the years going? Take Care.

For us today is the second day after Christmas. Yesterday my grandson had come to spend the day with me so the whole day I was with him. Only came on the net while he was sleeping. After he went back home I spent some time with my laptop and then had an early night. Today I plan to mylot the whole day. Lets see how long I can stay here.

Wow, this old neighbor of yours definitely know how to party. I am 30 some years old, I felt like a elderly, I don't know how to party hard at all. Hopefully he should know the limit of it, and not bothering you at all. It is cold here, and I knew the thunderstorm will come soon enough.

No fool like an old fool, lol. Hope it breaks up early. Maybe the rain will get them. It is too cold here to be partying outside. My partying days are over anyway, lol.HAPPY NEW YEAR, CHEVEE.
